HELLO YALL!

For those of you who know me well, I'm a "country girl" at heart. I love friends, neighbors, family and my wonderful sisters of BSP! Sandra Simpson recently told me I was like Paula Deen. I considered that a compliment...she smiles, and seems to truly enjoy life. I like to think I am like that..."A Cock-Eyed Optimist!"

So, as we begin the new year together, what are my hopes and wishes? First, I hope to continue the development of new Friendships that Duang so dearly worked toward this past year. I think we all understand that or sisterhood cannot become stagnant, life is a fleeting thing and we must cultivate folks who will continue our goal of spreading sisterhood and

friendship to all we meet. I've always lived by the adage of "Make New Friends and Keep the Old!" We have such a wonderful thing to share, please join me during the year, I hope that the word "traditions" can be exemplified by an even bigger "Sweetheart Ball," continuation of the Cake auction, sharing of socials with other chapters and a general interaction of sisters within each chapter. If I had my greatest wish, we would show up one night and not have enough space for all to sit...you miss so much when you don't get to share time together!

As your president, I will not ask for recognition, but with my outstanding board, I know you will always have someone to answer your questions or solve your problems. The events for the year promise to be GRAND!!! Once again, the more the merrier. Never hesitate to call on me if you need me...I will be your "faithful servant" and try to make you proud of the honor you have given me.

So on to the new year, not as indivduals but as a part of a greater whole...I'm so happy to take this journey with all of you!!!

"God Bless You All" as we continue Building our Future on Traditions!!
