SWHCC members honored their 2012 Sweethearts with a "New York! Big City! Big Lights!" theme at the Renaissance Hotel. The cocktail party started off in New York Central Park than moved to New York in the Plaza Ballroom where our Chpter Sweethearts were announced and honored.
Members celebrated the Holiday season by attending the yearly Holiday Tea at Bistro Le Cep that was chaired by Beta Lambda Phi. BLP choose the Houston Food Bank for this years Holiday Tea service project. Members donated nonperisable food items, enjoyed a great lunch and played a game of Holiday Family Feud.
Members celebrated the beginning of the sorority year with a Fiesta at Old South Plantation in Richmond. Members dressed fiesta style and held a cake auction to raise money for City Council.
"Have Some Wine And A Really Good Time" President Carolyn Meeks invited the incoming 2011 - 2012 Executive Board, Chapter Presidents, Vice Presidents and Committe Chairs to a luncheon at Corelli's. Sandra Simpson gave a program on Texas wines while members participated with wine tasting.
SWHCC members celebrated Founder's Day at the Jr. League in Houston. Executive Board was announced Chapter "Woman of the Year " and "Sister With Somthing Extra" were presented.
SWHCC members honored their 2011 Sweethearts like movie stars with a "Dance With the Stars" Ball Gala. at the Renaissance Hotel. It all started with a Cocktail Party then a stroll on the red carpet while being interviewed and striking a pose for the paparazzi. The night continued with dinner in the Plaza Ballroom and after dinner our Chapter Sweethearts were presented by Radio Personality Bo Corona.
Members celebrated the Holiday season by attending a Christmas in Candy Land Tea at Falcon Point Country Club. To help support "Operation Quiet Comfort" members donated almost 100 greeting cards for wounded service men and women.
Members celebrated the beginning of the sorority year with a Texas Hoedown at the River's Edge Party Barn. Members wore their cowboy hats and boots and danced the two step. Cake raffle was held as a fundraiser for City Council.

Members of Preceptor Nu along with their Beta Buddies revealed their 2012 Sweetheart Janis Turocy while celebrating at Taqueria Mexicano Bar and Grill in Sugar Land on December 9.
Members met at Jeanne Murray's home and enjoyed omelets in a bag for dinner with mimosas. Jeanne shared her Hersey Bar from Hersey, PA that she won at the last South West Houston City Council meeting.
Xi Alpha Zeta held their yearly Summer Luncheon with a silent auction to raise money for the chapter's yearly service projects. Members also compete for the best table decor the theme this year was "The Past is a Present."
Xi Phi Gamma toured a group of historic churches in the countryside surrounding the town of Schulenburg, Texas known as the Painted Churches of Fayette County. The churches, built by the Czech and German immigrants to the region, are recognized for their elaborately painted interiors and details such as faux marble columns, all reminders of the homeland they had left behind.
